What type of image can be used to produce custom wall coverings?

High-resolution digital images, personal photographs, artwork, drawings, text, corporate logo etc.  a file size of at least 3 megs is required for photos and other similar images to achieve acceptable reproduction. The better the quality of the image, the better the final results.

What if I have artwork I’ve created on canvas?

We can provide high-resolution digital scans that can be printed at much larger sizes.

What is the preferred format for digital files?

We accept files in EPS, PSD, TIFF, JPG, and PDF formats. QuarkXpress and In-design must be converted to EPS format. With EPS files, please create outlines for any fonts.  Unfortunately we do not accept Corel, Publisher, or Pagemaker files. Website files are too low res to accept.

Can I expect exact replication of my colors?  Our color technicians are highly trained to match your colors as close as possible.  However, because of the different mediums used, it is impossible to provide exact matching.  For logos and design elements that need the nearest match, please specify pantone colors or send us color swatches.

What if I don’t have my own image? No problem!  Call us to discuss your needs.  We have access to hundreds of images; one sure to fit your needs! Our experienced designers can turn your ideas into the perfect décor that will transform your interior. Need for us to create an original piece of artwork for you? We can do that too! What size can I make my wall-covering?

Custom wall coverings and borders can literally be produced to any size. The only limit is the quality of your image. Wall murals are printed four foot in width by your ceiling height with a half-inch overlap allowing for a double cut seam for installation, which produces an almost invisible seam.  Trim and borders can be printed in any size.

What size is a standard roll of wallpaper trim?

Custom wallpaper borders do not have any standard sizes. However, conventional borders are generally printed with a width that matches your wall height. As an example, for an 8' high ceiling, use an 8" border. For ease of installation we provide rolls between 12"- 15” inches long.

Do your wall coverings meet or exceed fire testing and certification?  Yes, all of our wall coverings are certified as commercial Type II, Class A  and meets or exceeds requirement for flame spread, smoke developments and flashover.  In addition they passed all requirements of CCCW-408-D for mold/mildew/bacterial resistance.

Is the wall-covering pre-pasted?

No, but our installation instructions include our recommended products for hanging your custom wallpaper.

Can I hang the wall mural myself?

We HIGHLY recommend using a professional wallpaper installer for your wall covering. A professional can reference our installation instructions, which are included with every order.

Do you offer custom wall images that do not cover the whole wall? Absolutely!  We offer wall-huggers of any image at any size up to four feet wide.  We can even take the background out of an image and contour to any shape. A photo of your kids in sports is a perfect example.

Can I see a sample and color of my job? Yes, before we print, we will provide you with a sample portion of your job for your approval.  In fact, we will not print the actual job until we receive your approval and release.

When can I expect my finished job?

We typically ship within one to two weeks after proof approval. Please call us if you have a specific deadline that does not meet that production schedule.

How do I get started? It’s as easy as one, two, three and we can help just about every step of the way!

1.Determine your wall dimensions – our pricing for wall-coverings and borders is based on square feet – so measure the width by the height of each wall.

2.Choose your image, photo, design or artwork and upload to our FTP site or send your original art via mail.  We can help create designs and provide original artwork

3.Prior to printing we will submit a proof for your approval in both PDF format and portion of the printed piece to show both quality and color.

That’s it! Once you approve the proof, in a week or two you’ll receive your wall-covering and or trim via mail along with your original artwork.
