What is the tile process? We use a dye-sublimation process to reproduce your images onto ceramic tile, stone and glass. The process uses ink heated to become a gas and with pressure bonds it onto the tile. This tile has a polymer coating applied to it that allows the gaseous ink to become chemically absorbed when both are under pressure. After cooling, the polymer coating hardens providing a protective layer over the sublimated ink image. Various tiles and coatings have specific characteristics making them suitable for various applications.
